Your contribution will help PyS continue to provide substance abuse prevention programming to over 1,000 students annually. You will help sustain the Cesar Chavez Ambassadors Youth Leadership Program, a year-long action-oriented program for high school students. You will also help increase our public health advocacy, voter registration projects and maintain community radio station KROJ 101.5 Radio Ollin.
PyS was founded in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and since has offered a variety of services with the majority of funding provided by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The focus of our work is to improve the social, economic and health conditions for residents of the San Fernando Valley who have been historically disadvantaged.
